PRESS RELEASE- Animoca brands have partnered with Brinc, a world leader in global venture acceleration, to launch the guild accelerator program, in the hopes of building and developing the play to earn ecosystem globally. In total, the program will have a fund of $30 million over two years.
The Guild Accelerator Program Will Enable Play to Earn
The guild accelerator program will support millions who want to earn from play. The program will only be accessible to guilds that are sustainable environmentally. Such as those who commit to proof of stake protocols that are energy efficient.
The program will fund up to $500,000 per guild, led by Richard Robinson from Animoca Brands, improving the gaming guilds and their performance. As well as providing financial backing, the program will also help guilds set up new operational systems, share expertise, and even help raise funds for startups.
Brendan Wong, the founder of the Avocado Guild, will be just one of the experts providing expertise within the program. Helping to grow play to earn brands.
Yat Siu one of the co-founders of Animoca Brands, had this to say about the program:
“As the world enters a new era of work and play, the play-to-earn guilds space has enormous potential for growth. The management of digital assets in games and in the open metaverse represents a significant source of income for hundreds of millions of people. The future of work in the metaverse is being written today, and we are proud to foster the guilds that are driving the evolution of these new opportunities.”
As mentioned previously on the Metaverse Insider, play to earn is the future of games. It provides sustainable living for those who love playing games. The guild accelerator program will help bring play to earn to the masses. Through increased funding to guilds that incorporate it. Consequently, as guilds get more support, more players will earn from playing games.
