Waiting For New Symphonies
“The potential of virtual reality is truly limitless. The technology keeps shocking me. We launched The Virtual Reality Company to bring together the world’s greatest storytellers and artists to create amazing experiences for VR. I see several incredible concert halls being built, so we’re waiting for new symphonies.”
The above is true, especially since the Metaverse and its true potential have been seized on by the media. The words, spoken by Robert Stromberg, Founder and Chief Creative Officer of The Virtual Reality Company, founded in 2014 and based in Los Angeles, ring true.
The potential of VR is truly limitless, and it will keep shocking you, Robert, that’s a given.
A dedicated content studio producing “immersive and memorable stories for Virtual Reality platforms”. The Virtual Reality Company is in the right place at the right time to leverage the popularity of the Metaverse and the trillion-dollar industry many experts believe it will become.
The Virtual Reality Company
Already the company has some exciting offerings. Including the Jurassic World VR Expedition™, an interactive cinematic virtual reality (VR) game. That transports players to the visually stunning prehistoric jungles of Isla Nublar. Here fans can interact in a film-inspired Jurassic World epic rescue adventure.
Another project is Raising a Rukus, the first episode of the ground-breaking new franchise, which is thoughtful storytelling, cutting-edge technology and the unlimited imagination that lends itself to a unique entertainment experience the whole family can enjoy.
All this comes from the mind of Robert Stromberg. An American special effects artist, designer and filmmaker who is The Virtual Reality Company Founder.
Stromberg’s credits include films such as James Cameron’s Avatar, Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland, and Sam Raimi’s Oz the Great and Powerful, the former two earning him Academy Award wins for Best Art Direction. Stromberg made his directorial debut with the 2014 Disney film Maleficent, a re-imagining of the iconic Disney villain.
Stromberg graduated from the California Institute of the Arts (Cal Arts).
Supporting Stromberg’s efforts is an expert team of advisors, one that is no other than… wait for it… Steven Spielberg! Apart from the human touch, the $25 million the company has raised in funding over two rounds ensures the development of thrilling projects like Jurassic World VR Expedition™ and others like it can continue for the foreseeable future, making The Virtual Reality Company a powerful force in the Metaverse ecosystem.
