1. Sayduck

Sayduck is a 3D management and publishing platform for products with primary outputs for Web 3D and Augmented Reality. Its vision is that every produced item will need a “digital double” and companies will want to manage and distribute these assets in an organized way. It wants to make 3D management and publishing easy and seamless — helping users to create compelling e-commerce experiences.

Founded in 2012 by Matt Drew, Mikael Ylinen and Niklas Slotte. The augmented reality companies raised a total of $1.5 million in external funding over four rounds.

2. Zakeke

Creating an immersive and unique visual customer experience with 2D, 3D and AR, startup Zakeke — founded in Milan, Italy in 2017 by Angelo Coletta — empowers brands and retailers to offer its customers live product personalization and 3D/AR view.

Zakeke easily integrates visual commerce solutions online and offline. Letting brands engage their customers with rich and interactive “design-your-own”​ experience.

3. InfiVR

Bangalore-based InfiVR provides solutions to core issues using Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality technology. Through its Infi AR/VR platform and solutions, the company improves its clients’ productivity, effectiveness, accuracy, and safety.

With a focus on providing virtual reality solutions for key industries like aviation, aerospace, automobile, defence, pharmaceuticals, energy, oil and gas, healthcare, InfiVR also provides solutions like virtual training, VR training, VR product sales and marketing, and VR for product design.

Founded in 2018 by Atish Patel and Rohal Chandrakar, this bootstrapped startup serves its Fortune 500 clients — based in countries such as Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, UAE, and US — with cutting-edge Virtual reality and Augmented reality solutions.

4. Augmented Pixels (acquired by Qualcomm)

A Ukrainian company with roots in the city of Odessa — though now based in Palo Alto, California — Augmented Pixels was founded in 2013 by Vitaliy Goncharuk. Having been acquired by Qualcomm, Augmented Pixels is a leader in precise 3D geolocation with the next generation of 3D maps crowdsourcing, on-cloud localization, and AR navigation products on board.

Its proprietary technologies include real-time mono/stereo SLAM SDK with sensor fusion (Replacement of AR Kit / AR Core). As well as navigation SDK (3D Maps crowdsourcing, on-cloud localization, etc.).

 Qualcomm acquired Augmented Pixels in January 2022. The company had raised a respectable $6.1 million in funding over ten rounds.

5. SMACAR Solutions

SMACAR Solutions is a US-based technology solutions provider launched in 2016 by Harry Unni, Sam Menon and Mahesh Menon with operations in Chennai, Tamil Nadu and Cherry Hill, New Jersey. Its aim is to become a global player in Social, Mobile, Analytics, Cloud (SMAC) and Augmented Reality (AR).

With a focus on technologies such as AR, VR, Beacons, the Internet of Things (IoT) and Big Data. The startup is developing a platform and framework with supporting processes. It will enable it to create products and provide services bridging all these technologies under one roof.

SMACAR Solutions’ clients base includes such giants as Amazon, Chrysler, Mohawk Industries, Jim Beam, and NEC.
