Altoida is creating a new gold standard in brain health with Precision Neurology by radically transforming the method for measuring brain function and diagnosing neurological disease, using just a smartphone or tablet.
Its products are backed by more than 20 years of innovative research in digital biomarkers, augmented reality (AR), and artificial intelligence (AI).
Founded in 2016 by Richard Fischer, Ioannis Tarnanas and Maximilian Buegler, Altoida received FDA Breakthrough Device Designation in July 2021. Its first device is a Computerized Cognitive Assessment Aid that is classified as Class II, 510(k) exempt.
4. CareAR, A Xerox Company
CareAR, a Xerox Company, is the Service Experience Management (SXM) player that makes expertise accessible instantly for users through remote, live visual augmented reality (AR) and AI interactions, instructions, and insights as part of a seamless digital workflow experience.

With headquarters in Plano, Texas, CareAR was founded in 2018 by Sam Waicberg and Chetan Gandhi and has raised a total of $10 million in funding over one Corporate round.
5. GoerTek
Since it was founded in 2001 by the billionaire entrepreneur Jiang Bin and his wife Hu Shuangmei, the Weifang, China-based public company GoerTek has remained innovative with a strong focus on continuously maintaining a high level of competitive advantage in an ever-increasing number of industries.
It is a world-forerunner in component parts such as micro-acoustic sensors, micro-display modules and camera modules. For finished products, it is a leader in Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR), Smart Wearables, Smart Audio, Intelligent Robots, Drones and other digital-era hardware used by augmented reality companies.
