Another startup based in India, Edlocus Solutions was founded in 2015 by Yadhavanbabu Mukund Samyrao and offers engineering and concept design, prototyping, business process automation, Virtual/Augmented Reality, Web and mobile applications while also providing tolerance stack solutions to solve and eliminate complex engineering problems.
With headquarters in Chennai, Edlocus Solutions has been working with 30+ reputed automotive companies in this domain over India as well as Japan.
3. Zippedi
With headquarters in Silicon Valley, Zippedi delivers Artificial Intelligence for the retail industry.
Leveraging its core competency in image recognition, machine and deep learning, it has created a solution/platform that allows retailers to leverage on-shelf data to monitor out of stocks, planograms, and price. Additionally, the platform enables retailers and suppliers to leverage Augmented Reality as well as Virtual Reality.
Zippedi was founded in 2017 by Alvaro Soto, Ariel Schilkrut and Luis Vera.
4. WaveOptics (Snap Inc)
WaveOptics (Snap Inc) delivers the world’s best optical engines for AR eyewear.
It researches, designs and develops optical engines for augmented reality smart glasses and headsets for superior optical performance for affordable mass manufacture.
Proudly part of Snap Inc., WaveOptics is a wholly-owned, independent subsidiary of Snap. Based in Abingdon, UK, WaveOptics was founded in 2014 by David Grey and Sumanta Talukdar and has raised a total of $54.4 million in funding over six rounds.
