NFC Will Feature Mariupol, an Interactive NFT Exhibition Raising Money for Ukraine

A couple of days ago, we announced a media partnership with the Non Fungible Conference (NFC). We will be teaming up with NFC, alongside other media outlets, to cover the event. You can find out more information about this collaboration here. As highlighted, the Non Fungible conference is Europe’s leading NFT conference and a one-of-a-kind event featuring guest speakers, talks, workshops, and even parties.  Likewise, the event will exhibit Mariupol, an interactive NFT artwork exhibition that will raise money for Ukraine. Mariupol is a collaborative effort between thirty-eight artists and will be the center of the conference.

All funds raised will go towards the Voices of the Children charity. The charity provides psychological support to child victims of war. The piece is divided into thirteen different layers. As a living piece of art, the owners of each layer will get to determine how each layer will look. People will be able to bid on the individual layers.

Mariupol is based on the horrors of war, more specifically, the horrors of civilian bombing. John Karp, the founder of the Non Fungible Conference and one of the artist’s curators, had this to say about the NFT art:

“The horror, disgust and pain forces people to act. It makes bystanders want to do something. I hope this artwork can be a testament to the power of community and collaboration, and proof that, whilst there is still too much evil and suffering in this world, there is plenty of good left in it too.”

Here at the Metaverse Insider, we cannot wait to cover the event and this incredible piece of craftwork. Make sure to keep up to date with all the metaverse news and our coverage of NFC by checking out our website and following our social media channels.
