1. Brightline Interactive

Brightline Interactive is a company made up of a team of cutting-edge technology experts who specialize in the implementation and scalability of emerging immersive technologies. Founded in 2004 by Erik Muendel, this Ashburn, Virginia-based company’s mission is to build world-class immersive technologies that exponentially enhance the human ability to acquire and retain knowledge, while generating meaningful connections.

2. Pebble Studios

A London-based content production company specializing in film, animation, VFX, 3D Modelling, Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality, since it was founded in 2011 by Matt Beveridge Pebble Studios’ focus has been on bringing together an explosive mix of exciting creative talent with experienced industry hands, to create fresh, innovative, industry-leading moving image to suit any screen.

To date, Pebble Studios has worked with some of the world’s biggest brands including Disney, Adidas, Samsung, Sony, ABC Studios, and many more across a wide variety of industries and sectors, including mobile, automotive, FMCG, sport, music, fashion and TV, with agency partners including Y&R London, Iris Worldwide, and CHI & Partners.

3. Studios iLLOGIKA

As a video game developer and immersive experiences designer, Canada-based Studios iLLOGIKA is the result of technology meeting creativity, with a team passionate about the worlds it creates and always ready to experiment with the latest technologies.

Based in Montreal, Studios iLLOGIKA was founded in 2009 by David Fugère-Lamarre studio and offers designs and concepts to Canadian and international clients. These collaborations bring video games, interactive installations, as well as virtual and augmented reality projects to life.

4. Ultraleap

Finally, we have Ultraleap, a leader in mid-air haptics and 3D hand tracking, which came together when Leap Motion and Ultrahaptics merged in 2019.

The company’s breakthrough haptic technology (previously Ultrahaptics) uses ultrasound to create rich, three-dimensional shapes and textures that can be felt, but not seen while its world-leading hand tracking technology tracks your hand in 3D space and allows you to interact with digital content. Ultraleap haptics technology uses ultrasound to add the sense of touch in mid-air. Separately or together, these technologies enable touchless and clean 3D interaction that is applicable to a range of industries, including extended reality (VR & AR), digital signage, kiosks, automotive, industrial automation, consumer electronics, and entertainment.

With headquarters in Bristol, UK, Ultraleap’s team is spread across three continents and includes world-leading experts in human-computer interfaces, acoustics, machine learning and computer vision.

The company — which has raised a whopping $166.8 million in funding over eight rounds — was founded in 2013 by Sriram Subramanian and Tom Carter.
