3. Global Women in Blockchain
Global Women in Blockchain (GBW) is a worldwide network of women who are actively leading digital transformation with blockchain technologies, companies and digital currencies. The non-for-profit network, established in March 2018 on International Women’s Day by Nina Nichols, is based in Los Angeles and has grown as a valuable organization of innovators and experts across a wide range of industry segments and use cases to introduce more efficient ways of working, greater diversity and importantly, enabling greater socio-economic benefits.
As a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, the network sees the urgent, critical need to modernize and rebuild supply chain, healthcare and financial services. Its members are at the forefront of this effort, to bring greater accuracy, trust, transparency and immediacy to our global infrastructure, cities and daily life.
4. Blockchain Buffalo
Blockchain Buffalo is a group of geeks, business people and techies that meets every Tuesday morning to talk about the blockchain at Rowhouse Bakery & Restaurant located in the heart of Downtown Buffalo.
Set up in 2017 by Paul Neubecker and Joe Peters, the group’s mission is to get people talking and learning about blockchain technology in Buffalo.
5. Blockchain at Georgia Tech
Blockchain at Georgia Tech’s mission is to empower the student body at the college with knowledge and opportunities within the evolving world of Decentralized Finance, Blockchain and cryptocurrency.
Founded in 2021 by Pruitt Martin, Cole Schendl and Chris Newhouse, Blockchain at Georgia Tech provides educational workshops, crypto resources, networking opportunities, and speaker series for all students.
