1. Toya
Based in Tel Aviv, Israel, Toya was founded by Anat Shperling in 2016 and is a female-led studio partnering with the biggest platforms in the gaming industry to develop and promote games that cater to an underserved and growing audience of over 1.3 billion female players around the world. Its team is currently focusing on Roblox, a powerful community-driven platform with more democratic gameplay, and an avid female audience.
Committed to creating realms where players are not bound by the constraints of this imperfect world and can unlock their own creativity and potential, Toya’s approach is developing nonlinear, open-ended games you can play with friends that deliver inspiring role models and enable our players to learn critical skills necessary to succeed in the outside world.
2. Dream Life
Dream Life is a digital tech startup with a registered office in Miami and a subsidiary in Barcelona founded in 2016 by Albert Palay.
Developing Dream Life, a virtual real-life metaverse made up of 12 real cities plus Mars. Each city will be composed of 12 avenues that represent a real neighbourhood. In each city, Dream Life offers +300 experiences (concerts, music, sports, etc), virtual shopping, NFT market, gaming and real estate. Furthermore, Dream Life is creating Burning Mars — a virtual exhibition of free creation about Art, Culture, Music and entertainment for 10,000 members.
3. ZkTube
ZkTube focuses on innovation, sustainability, and green solutions such as green mining with significant returns and gaming with its Layer2 wallet as an excellent getaway for the GameFi and one-of-its-kind Layer Two Metaverse.
ZkTube solves Ethereum’s congestion and high transaction cost problems with a fast, secure, inexpensive, and environmentally friendly Layer 2 solution and offers Zero-Knowledge proof sustainable cloud mining which reduces energy consumption, especially when compared to the energy consumption of other Blockchain networks.
Based in Melbourne, Australia, ZkTube was founded in 2021 by Charlene F. and Lance Zhang and has raised a total of $15 million in funding to date.
4. Arcona
Arcona represents the X-Reality Metaverse, merging together real and virtual worlds worldwide creating an Augmented Reality layer — The Digital Land.
Arcona launched the social network in AR, where you can see and share the information on the digital billboards linked to the real world, travel in time, see how the city looked in the past and navigate the streets using an augmented reality map.
Using just one single camera of any mobile device, the startup builds a digital 3D model of the world on the cloud. With the feature map, it recognizes the environment, and position of the mobile device and the content in the real world with high accuracy. The platform is built at the crossing of advanced technology. It combines the functionality of a distributed geographic information system (GIS), computer vision technology, 3D simulation and artificial intelligence (AI).
Based in St Petersburg, Russia, Arcona was founded in 2017 by Diana Sorina, Ilya Korguzalov and Daniil Girdea. Its team of professionals has five years of experience in the AR market — even before Google, Apple, Facebook and other companies began working actively on AR projects. To date, the company has already created eight full-scale historical AR parks in six European countries and has developed its unique remote positioning algorithms.
5. Emoshape
Emoshape is dedicated to providing a solution that teaches intelligent objects how to interact with humans to yield a favourable, positive result. Emoshape’s emotion synthesis engine (EPU) technology ensures a leap for Artificial Intelligence, especially in the realm of the Metaverse, NFT, gaming, virtual reality, automotive, intelligent speakers, affective toys, pervasive computing, and other major consumer electronic devices.
Based in New York City, Emoshape was founded in 2017 by Patrick Levy-Rosenthal.
