Solid Clouds Transforms Almere Bus Station into a 3D Digital Twin with Advanced Scanning Technology

In a remarkable feat of technological prowess, Solid Clouds has announced the successful creation of a highly detailed 3D digital twin of the Almere bus station. Leveraging state-of-the-art scanning technologies, the company’s skilled team meticulously captured every nook and cranny of the bustling 20,000 square meter transportation hub, without causing any disruptions to the daily commuter traffic.

The project faced significant challenges due to the constant movement of people, buses and trains at the station. However, the company’s state-of-the-art technology enabled them to overcome these hurdles by capturing precise details in real-time, ensuring that the regular activities at the bus station were not affected.

The result of this technological effort is a high-precision digital twin of the Almere bus station. This digital replica is a valuable asset for engineering and project planning, providing a digital framework that enhances decision-making and operational efficiency.

Solid Clouds has also shared a video demonstrating their team’s process in creating this digital twin. The video illustrates how the company turns complex environments into clear, manageable digital models, showcasing their technical expertise and innovative approach to digital twinning.
